The much-loved Jazz Garden was initially launched in 2008 as a seven-day sub-event of the Dubai Jazz Festival. It attracted hundreds of mainstream jazz and blues artists, as well as thousands of fans. The last edition of the Jazz Garden was held during the massive Dubai Jazz Festival 2014 hosted in Dubai Festival City, it drew a daily crowd of 4,000. Subsequently, the festival returned to its original home in Dubai Media City. After much consideration, the organizers made the difficult decision to place the Jazz Garden on a brief hiatus due to scheduling conflicts with other events.

After three long years of non-stop requests to bring back The Jazz Garden, the organizers rebranded and relaunched it as a stand-alone series of events. Featuring internationally acclaimed jazz and blues acts, the long-awaited event returned with a bang! The pilot episode took place on the 28th of April 2017 at Habtoor Grand Resort – Dubai Marina, with a great turn out of more than 4,000 attendees. In October 2017, the 1st season was launched with episode 1 attracting more than 4,000 fans, followed by 2 episodes in November and December 2017 drawing an average of 5,000 fans for each episode.

In 2020, and on Thursday January 30, the Jazz Garden Venue was launched as a semi permanent destination for weekend live entertainment. Unfortunately season 1 of the series ended before the end of the season which was scheduled for April 17, but due to the spreading of Corona Virus around the world, and due to the fact that Dubai Authorities decided to suspend all activities on March 15, we had no choice but to end our activities after 7 successful weekends that featured world class artists and attracted thousands of fans.
